I was invited on set to document Cece Stein and her Rock & Revolution Crew and their photo shoot with gorgeous actress Abby Brammell.
It was an amazing experience for me.
This Revolutionary team is composed of Photographer Joe Quinto (with first assistant Matt Hunt) , Make up Artist Jenny Karl, Cece and Avalon pulled it all together as Stylists.

While in Indian Wells watching tennis and getting sunburned I was on the hunt for great fashion. There was the typical style you expect to see at this event but not much worth taking a photo of.
And then I saw her. This woman had the RADest style ever! Her silhouette is breathtaking, she was so tall and has the stature of a goddess. Of all the cute Tory Burch women stutten' their stuff this woman put them to shame with her self defined SWAGGER.
I have had some amazing women in my life. There is one woman in particular whom has really been one of my greatest advocates, shoulder to lean on and the first to let me know that my shoe is untied before I trip on my shoe lace. This woman has been by my side weather she liked it or not.
Nicole, I had to do something of a public Thank You to you because you are so humble, such a quiet and unselfish person. You are like the silent force behind us all. You should seriously run for President someday.
I hope you realize how much you are appreciated and how much you mean to me! I love you....Nice People Breed ..... Nice People.... well in your case Radness Breeds Radness!

who am I kidding! I would wear those shoes anyways. How rad are they all warn in and loved. I did not ask him who they are or the story behind his amazing shoes, I am left to imagine where they have taken him.
These two men have given me a gift of a beautiful life experience that I will never be able to repay them for. They have morphed from being benevolent leaders to members of my family and friends for life. When I interviewed for a job with Blue Bee almost 7 years ago John said something that really had sayed true through out my tenure " My employees are like my kids, they grow up here and go on to do great things, I am so proud of them like a parent" This has been my experence still......
I am not sure I will be able to articulate how grateful I am to Marty and John. How much they have done for me, my son and my family. They have stepped in during hard times of my life and lifted me up and kept my head held high! They cultivated what I was rad at and supported and pushed me to be the best I can be. They never tried to make me someting I was not but truely pushed me to be the best me....they understood and love who I am as a person... such a personal gift.
They have lead by example and I hope that someday I will be as rad as they are. These guys have such a deep understanding of true love amidst fellows. I am grateful to have seen this quality in them :)
The whole Blue Bee Team has made such an impact on my life too, made me who I am today. Each and every comrade has added more raddness to my life. My 6 1/2 years at Blue Bee was the most beautiful time in my life. The doors to the most influential, fashionable, local phenomenon may have physically shut for Blue Bee, but know that Marty and John's vision Blue Bee Inc has single handily changed the WORLD of rad reps, Cooley-dressed chicks and dudes, fashion mavens and designers. The world will never be the same because of you guys.... I can't wait to see what your drive and passion will cultivate next.
Here is to the next line, the local Brick and Mortar, fashion's next obsession and what ever else is RAD. The world is our oyster..... keep your eyes open!

I remember when we got this Chandelier from Erickson Beamon... with in my first year of working for Blue Bee. I remember when we received it... watching Marty and John open the amazing box built just for this beautiful huge piece of artwork.
Created by Karen and Monique Erickson and the team at Erickson Beamon spent 2 weeks in their New York studio creating this amazing piece especially for Blue Bee.
I have had 2 customers seriously consider buying it since then. We have never really spent any time or effort selling it. It is one of those pieces that is SO specific to a person or home and really I can not imagine Blue Bee with out it.
With a new and fun idea in mind we put the Chandelier on Ebay .... just to get it out there.... see what would happen. With the idea in mind there is ONE person out there who is missing something....... something so special and rad. . . a Chandelier perhaps?
