How to Make a Shoe Sexy

my goal is to make you feel like you can reach out and touch my subject. you can almost feel the suede on your fingertips, the curve of the toebox in your hand, the laces through your fingers. do you want to put it on?

this couple recently got engaged.

Kinfolk made this type of shot popular. Obscuring faces, putting objects in front of them. They dim the blacks, soften the lights and make the shot look dreamy and soft. I like to do the opposite.
