Serfintaine Celebrates with Blue Bee Pre-Launching Spring 2011

Serfontaine has been with Blue Bee for almost the entire decade Blue Bee has been open. Not only are Mik and his wife Maria Serfontaine have been long friends of Marty and John, but they have been huge supporters of Blue Bee from day 1. So needless to say they are all SUPER excited to be able to bring you Serfontaine's Spring 2011 collection to wear buy and rock already! The Serfontaine Spring collection will be available at tonight's Blue Bee 10yr Birthday Party as well as at Saturday's Anniversary Celebration on Oct 23rd.

What is exciting about this collection is that it is inspired by modern minimalism, less is more. Mik stripped down the embellishments and heightened his amazing fit even more. I am so excited to see what is to come for this amazing direction.

Kate is modeling a super rad capri with black buttons and silver zippers. It is so new I can't even recall the name of the capri...it is beautiful though. Kate is one of the Managers at Blue Bee Jeans and one of the most generous, down to earth, super nice, helpful women that work for Blue Bee. Her laugh is contagious. Kate is a totally local Santa Barbarian surfer chick, this girl has skill! She also knows her fashion, fit, and what works for every body. She is an expert at finding something that will work for you and quick to tell you if it does not...with results in the fact that you can trust her.

Serfontaine Zips Me Up

Serfontaine Denim is really quite amazing......the re-birth of cool.

this brand held one of the first denim product knowledge meetings that I went to. I learned not only about the amount of passion and effort that Mik and Maria Serfontaine put into the jeans they make but they were the first to comment on the amount of care, passion and effort that goes to supporting the people that actually make their jeans in Los Angeles. I was immediately impressed with how they ran their business and where they maintained their focus: Jeans and the people who make them.

Throughout the years of working at Blue Bee I have see them be huge supporters of our events and employees. Mik, Maria and those who work for them are such caring, down to earth and pure people....RE-BIRTH OF REAL....that is RAD!
