Steve and Stephanie are two locals that catch what you will be eating in 90% of the Restaurants in the Santa Barbara County that sell fish. Your favorite Sushi restaurant that serves Uni... yah Stephanie totally DIVED for that yesterday.

Steve is like Santa Barbara's local "Deadliest Catch" Crab fisherman. His works with one deckhand, 3 day trips, totally hard core.

It was a pleasure shooting these dynamic people for one of the raddest local Magazines, Dining & Destinations. So next time you come to Santa Barbara pay homage to these hard working, dedicated fishermen and women and enjoy some of our local Sea Food Restaurants.

Summer Shorts - Unbearably HOT

Last Summer seemed to be layed back, eclectic, full of peace and love.

Well......that was last year.

Summer Style for 2010 seems to be shorter, hotter, faster and better. For Work, Evening or Play... Short Shorts seemed to be everywhere! I mean..... a 2 inch inseam.....that's hot.

Crochet pockets hanging out long (like the 7 for All Mankind Boyfriend shorts)True Religion cut-offs to Frankie B Ziggy Zip's, and Joe's Jeans Military Cargo cut off Shorts. Thankfully for ladies such as my self who opt for a little leg, Page Premium Denim and Hudson were kind enough to produce some amazing denim Bermudas.

With all that leg showing you might need to add some millage to those getaway sticks!

Saturday Simple Style

Simple is Paige Premium Denim, James Perse, and boots

This morning I was eating my favorite childhood cereal staring in to the bowl daydreaming about what I was going to wear today. I have to picture it first. Envision the great outfit I will pull together.

A Cereal bowl is the raddest canvas for this type of envisioning. Today I kept it Simple.....it is Saturday after all.

Greenbees Shoes and other Cheap Thrill$

There are some awesome new Brands turning Heads at Blue Bee this Season.

The first is a small company but they are making huge strides to lesson our "footprint" on our fragile earth. Greenbees shoes use recycled tires for their soles and made with time honored Mexican Shoe making techniques.

Blue Bee bought a rad short boot: the Emma. Not only are these boots super affordable at $230, they are surprisingly comfortable....No Dr. Scholls needed!

I am also super stoked on Blank jeans. Not only are they fun, trendy, fit true to size but they are all $78 and under. Started by Designers Emmy Lauridsen and Leigh Brown in 2007 these two women set out to create a denim line that speaks to fashion forward women with a budget. The quality and cut of these jeans stand up to their premium denim competitors.

I am slightly obsessed with the Blank Chronic Black in Acid jeans I am wearing....they are fun and slimming. I can not wait to get more from this dynamic duo!

I am also wearing a Wonderwall tank from Quiksilver, and this rad WHITE denim jacket from Paige Premioum Denim...I'm briging it back! My entire outfit is under $550.

Most of the time I love just wearing Jeans and a T shirt. The Paige Lou Lou cut is awesome because it is like a skinny jean with an awesome flair on the bottom. This cut makes legs look 2x as long.... I love it. And of course my favorite Splendid tee......cute, always a little different, not overpriced and they last.

Paige VS Dishes

I did NOT want to do the dishes tonight.....

so me and my Honner rocked out in the living room instead.

OK, just so you know, you have got to have some killer skinny jeans for me to wear them.. like Ksubi, Serfontaine, Rich & Skinny, and Siwy are the raddest. Skinnys are not necessarily my style.

What IS my style are bootcut and FLAIR! I am talkin' 70's bell bottom, old school, classic rock and roll Flair Jeans. The trick is all flair jeans have a 9inch + rise.... looks horrible on my square body.

There is one Jean company that meets my Flair criteria, Paige Premioum Denim. Paige Lou lou Sardinia Rocks the House! Granted, Paige makes a pretty mean skinny but her Flair Jeans and bootcuts are the ticket!

.... I ended up doing the dishes after my Living Room Jam.

I Just Want To Fit In

I screened some of Insurgency Inc's starter kit that I got with my tee over the photos. "it's so cute how you draw on stuff and think about yourself all the time."

Sporting my new TEE (you can get one too) from the Rynham and Insurgency Inc....

.....with my Paige Premium Denim (you can get one of those as well) jeans.

It totally reminds me of how I have spent so much time trying to fit in, over 1/2 my life. INEVERDID. And then I finally gave up as I grew up. All that time and energy I wasted I now put towards the people like my friends and family who love me for who I am . . .

so now ....in a way....I DO. That is the raddest lesson I have ever learned.

We did a fun photo shoot at the beach and around the neighborhood. She wore the Paige Jeans she got at Blue Bee, as well as showed off some of her recent Fall 09 purchases.

Someday we are going to go on a long road trip on our motorcycles around California.
