Splendid Clothing Wraps - Snug as a Bug

The weather just changed here in Santa Barbara and I am so ready to start building my fall wardrobe.

7 For All Mankind and Splendid celebrated with us for Blue Bee's 10th Anniversary. It was amazing and so much FUN! Before the event we had a Product Knowledge Seminar given by some seriously rad reps: Julie, Meg and Alissar.

These three amazing women all work near to each other and have the funnest stories of their daily adventures. Julie is our rep for Women's 7FAM, Meg is our rep for Men's 7FAM and Allisar is our rep for Splendid. These women support us as a local Boutique and do such an amazing job keeping us in touch with the brand they represent, respond to what you the Blue Bee customer wants and keep us always ahead of the demand for the latest fashion trends.

7 For All Mankind is ALSO celebrating 10 years of making some of the most amazing jeans in the world. From the beginning their focus has been on Fabric, Fit and Finish and 7FAM has delivered time and time again. You wonder why they are the top selling jean in the store. Women - Long Layering pieces, Stripes, Pattern mixing and Wide Leg Trousers.

Men - Utility Jacket, Skinny Straight leg jeans, V neck tees and Military Inspired boots.

I have a feeling that this Fall is going to be a RAD one!

I totally spilled coffee on my knot tee this morning ... had to edit those drips out. I wish stains would be that easy to remove in real life..... :) I'll just have to get another color ....I can justify just about anything!

Splendid - Summer Layering

If you have ever lived in Southern California you know all about layering. The fog rolls in the sun comes out and then in the evening the wind picks up all at a moment's notice. The land of layering. I don't leave the house with out at least 3 layers on........AT LEAST!

So Why wouldn't Splendid have a Layering Program? Founder and Designer Moise Emquies graduated from a California Law school in 1992. Waiting for the Bar Exam results he decided to help his friend with her tee shirt company to pass the time. Smart! So he started studying about fabric, cut, and design. Even Smarter!

So he gets his results, passed, and works for a law firm. But he really wants to be a designer. SO following his passion he begins his first tee shirt company. SPLENDID! well Splendid is not really his first company, it was Leopold.

And there you have it, an awesome tee shirt company with an in house lawyer from California that understands what layering is all about! Splendid Clothing is durable enough to with sand my hassle free/ no fuss washings, soft enough to feel as fancy as silk, and always ahead of the trend game.

Spring's Play on Textures - Rips, Mesh and Studs.

When I get dressed in the morning I love playing with different textures in the clothes I have. This Spring Blue Bee has some amazing textures that I just had to get my hands on.

Most of the time I love just wearing Jeans and a T shirt. The Paige Lou Lou cut is awesome because it is like a skinny jean with an awesome flair on the bottom. This cut makes legs look 2x as long.... I love it. And of course my favorite Splendid tee......cute, always a little different, not overpriced and they last.

Rockstar Denim has one of the hottest trends for Fall 09, Motocross Denim.

They are quite comfortable, slick, true to size, and if worn right your mom could even rock these. My favorite feature is the zipper back pocket...... And of course the Knee Reinforcement. I get why these jeans have a lot of press. I liked how I looked in them.
